love this site.







so superheroes are supposed to be strong no? Infallable, indestructible, basically your know-it-all go-to person to save you from distress. someway, somehow, that person manages to save not one. not two. but over hundreds of people in one mighty flight, climb or what not (though usualy there's this one person who always gets into trouble so it's basically him/her times a hundred)

basically, a teacher is like that. able to silence with a single scream, cure boo-boos in a sec and get the 'criminal' (the one who 'make him/her') to pay for his crime (the booboo) through jail-time (usually a nag that'll last forever). In the end, the day is saved by Miss/Mr/Mrs/ Mdm (insert surname/name here)

some of my kids actually came up to me some days ago and said i was their hero(ine). a go-to person when the rest of the world doesn't care. man, that made me feel proud and made my day. till i noticed that they came to me for everything. this person said this to me. this person 'make me' (make you what? a kite? how nice...) this person did this and that. Now though i wanna be known as Wild Thing, superhero of the ages, i've got to admit, i want my kids to grow up. i want them to learn that sometimes you've got to let small things go. even superheroes don't save kittens when the buildings collapsing.

contrary to popular belief, we superheroes aren't indestructible. we get tired, we fall sick, and lo and behold, some of us have a life other than wearing that cute lil spandex outfit that is starting to be a lil too tight. when we get reminded of our weaknesses, we just get reminded how weak we just are. then i remember i can't be there all the time for them and i'll just have to let them free.

though you'd probably never stumble upon this blog of mine u dearies, i loved you through all the good times and the bad, through all the screaming and the laughter. now you see those lil wings (commonly known to the untrained eye as a backpack) take it and fly. you'll probably fall flat on ur face at some point, and you turn around calling for help but it seems this superhero aint gonna be there for you. i'm there. just by a wee lil corner seeing you get up on your feet, brush the dirt away and seeing you grow up to be wonderful men and women.

As for the criminals, well, there's always the bad to make you look good right? without 'em, you'll have a pretty boring story.
